Firefighter

Provides emergency medical response as a first responder, responds to fires, hazardous material spills, and rescues, and provides fire protection and prevention according to local regulations.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of Firefighting, theories and concepts in the field and their practical applications to problems and situations ordinarily encountered
• Successful Completion of CSFM Firefighter 1
• Current CPAT or Biddle
• Medical treatment up to par with San Diego protocol
• Use of computer software programs (MS Office, iOS applications)
• Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written applications
