Genstone Insurance is seeking an Insurance Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in business or related field, 2+ years of sales experience, and an active General Lines Property & Casualty Producer License. The role will involve achieving individual sales targets, meeting agency production requirements, and working with referral sources or self-generated sales opportunities to quote, sell, and process insurance applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field (or equivalent combination of years of experience with High School diploma/GED)
- Active General Lines Property & Casualty Producer License
- 2+ years' relevant sales experience
- Previous experience in mortgage, servicing, or financial services industry
- Encompass experience or similar software preferred
- Active network of investor customers/ brokers a plus
- Knowledge of business structures like LLC, LP, SP, and others
- Knowledge of state-specific insurance requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Customer service-focused with strong interpersonal skills
- Collaborative work style; high team-orientation
