Associate, Investment Accounting

Global Atlantic is seeking an Associate, Investment Accounting to support the accounting for renewables and infrastructure investments. The role entails preparing monthly ledger reconciliations, preparing GAAP 10Q/K investment disclosures, and performing control functions in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 and NAIC Model Audit Rule.

Requirements

• Renewable energy investment accounting background
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA a plus
• 7-10 years of relevant experience
• Public Accounting experience a plus
• Familiarity with complex transactions, internal securitizations and SPVs
• Familiarity with investment accounting systems
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent computer skills, including MS Excel
• Pro-active, detail oriented, deadline driven; possess excellent documentation and analysis skills
• Results oriented, flexible, self-motivated, and able to work in a team environment with limited direct supervision
• Solid written and oral communication skills
• Proven ability to successfully handle competing priorities and multiple deliverables
• Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
