Associate, Investment Accounting - Renewable Energy

Global Atlantic is seeking an Associate, Investment Accounting - Renewable Energy to support accounting for renewables and infrastructure investments. The role involves preparing monthly ledger reconciliations, preparing GAAP 10Q/K investment disclosures, and performing month end closing procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 7-10 years of relevant experience
• Public Accounting experience a plus
• CPA a plus
• Renewable energy investment accounting background (strongly preferred)
• Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of GAAP and knowledge of Statutory accounting principles related to renewable energy investments
• Familiarity with complex transactions, internal securitizations and SPVs
• Familiarity with investment accounting systems
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent computer skills, including MS Excel
• Pro-active, detail oriented, deadline driven; possess excellent documentation and analysis skills
• Results oriented, flexible, self-motivated, and able to work in a team environment with limited direct supervision
• Solid written and oral communication skills
• Proven ability to successfully handle competing priorities and multiple deliverables
