Job Description
Global Earthwork + Underground is seeking a Grading Foreman to oversee and coordinate daily grading operations on construction projects. The role involves supervising crews, managing equipment utilization, and ensuring safe work practices, efficiency, and quality outcomes.
Requirements
- Supervise and lead grading crews in daily operations
- Read and interpret plans, blueprints, and grade stakes
- Monitor progress and quality of grading work
- Maintain job site safety
- Track production and provide daily reports
- Coordinate with surveyors, engineers, and subcontractors
- Train and mentor crew members
- Monitor material usage and minimize waste
- Assist in planning and scheduling work and resources efficiently
