The Sales and Operations Data Analyst is responsible for managing customer fuel usage, cost optimization, and performance analysis across a customer's fleet team. This role emphasizes data analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement to ensure fuel efficiency, cost control, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Requirements
- Develop and maintain comprehensive customer relationship strategies to enhance satisfaction and loyalty
- Utilize data analytics to gain insights into customer behavior, preferences, and trends
- Design and implement customer feedback mechanisms, using insights to drive continuous improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to customer engagement
- Assist with the implementation and management of billing and reporting systems and technologies
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to customer satisfaction and retention
- Analyze fuel consumption data across fleet assets to identify trends, anomalies, and cost-saving opportunities for current and future customers
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports tracking fuel spend, usage patterns, and variance against budget
- Conduct root-cause analysis on fuel overages, losses, or inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions for current and future customers
- Support and analyze fuel budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Reconcile monthly fuel card invoices, resolving billing discrepancies, and maintaining relationships with fuel providers
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas)
- Proficiency with CRM data visualization tools and software
- Experience with fleet management systems

- Ability to create strong relationships with internal and external customers
