Government Account Representative

The Government Account Representative is an outside sales role that involves developing relationships with assigned accounts to achieve profitable revenue growth. The role involves maintaining an understanding of government contracts, determining the appropriate 'Grainger Value Proposition' for each account, and creating a territory plan to optimize call routes and maximize time in the field.

Requirements

• Maintain an understanding of government contracts
• Determine and prepare the appropriate 'Grainger Value Proposition' to each account
• Create a territory plan that optimizes call routes and maximizes time in the field
• Grow sales with each account
• Maintain account and customer contact and record follow up details in Grainger's CRM (Salesforce)
