Scientist, Oligo Platform Biology (Screening)

Join the Oligo Platform Biology team in the United States to help establish high throughput oligo screening workflows and capabilities within GSK’s new oligo platform biology lab.

Requirements

• MS with 3+ years, or BS with 5+ years, in molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry, or a related field.
• 2+ years experience with high-throughput screening, cell-based assays and automation.
• Experience with mammalian cell culture, transfection of nucleic acids, and handling primary or immortalized cell lines.
• Experience with cell and molecular biology and techniques (e.g. mammalian cell culture, RNA/DNA isolation, transfection, PCR/qPCR, ELISA, Western Blot, gel electrophoresis, etc.)
• Experience with liquid handlers and dispensers (for example Viaflo 96/384, Certus Flex, Tecan or similar)
