Job Description
Hadley Designs is seeking a Director of Finance to lead the financial future of the company. The ideal candidate will have experience in finance or accounting, with a proven track record of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. The role requires a strategic and detail-oriented leader who can scale systems, guide teams through growth, and communicate financial insight in plain English.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA or CPA strongly preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, including 3+ years in leadership
- Proven success in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
- Experience implementing scalable systems and automation in growing organizations
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, compliance, and tax standards
- Proficiency with tools such as Xero, QuickBooks, or advanced Excel/Google Sheets
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Experience in e-commerce or multi-channel retail (preferred)
- Collaborative mindset and the confidence to influence executive-level decisions
