Fluid Systems Test & Operations Engineer

A leading aerospace organization is seeking Level II, Senior, or Staff Fluid Systems Test & Operations Engineers to support propulsion test and operations for advanced flight vehicles.

Requirements

• Conduct test operations in the control room and provide direction to other team members as needed
• Develop and document test requirements, plans, procedures, and reports
• Design and develop hardware to support propulsion testing and operations
• Manage propulsion ground support equipment (GSE) and related plumbing/instrumentation diagrams
• Perform propulsion system analyses and studies to support testing
• Prepare for and participate in Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) and post-test data reviews
• Assist in integrating components and assemblies onto the vehicle
• Conduct component or assembly-level propulsion testing to prepare for integrated ground tests
• Troubleshoot propulsion systems and components
• Develop engineering tools as required to complete tasks
• Communicate regularly with the Propulsion Test/Operations Team Lead
• Travel as needed to support departmental activities
• Demonstrate accountability, integrity, and follow-through
