Tax Manager

The Tax Manager will support, monitor, help to develop and continually refine the federal income tax strategy for Harley-Davidson, Inc. and subsidiaries to minimize the Company’s tax risks and liabilities and maximize our tax opportunities and refunds.

Requirements

• Coordination of the preparation and review of the US federal and state income tax provision computations
• Ensure proper consolidation and reporting of global income tax expense, deferred tax items, tax payable balances, tax reserves and valuation allowances
• Coordination of timely provision to return computations and adjustments resulting from tax audits and related journal entries
• Coordination of the preparation and review of the US federal income tax compliance process with a focus on completeness, technical and computational accuracy and efficiency
• Ensure that all US income tax filing deadlines and documentation requirements are met
• Ensure the management of Federal income tax audits to include review and coordination of data collection, analysis and communication between tax personnel and tax authorities or external consultants for both HDFS and HDMC
• Support US business and functional personnel by coordinating US income tax analysis, planning and considerations resulting from ongoing questions and changes in the business or tax laws
