Chief Inspector

We are seeking a Chief Inspector to join our team at HDR. As a Chief Inspector, you will conduct observations of construction, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with project managers. The position covers Orange, Ulster, and Dutchess Counties in New York.

Requirements

• Conduct and document observations of construction as it progresses
• Mentor junior field staff and provide supervision as needed
• Collaborate with other field representatives or Project Managers
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Conduct and document observations of construction as it progresses
• Identify nonconforming work and develop project punchlists
• Serve as the most senior inspector on projects as needed
• Perform other duties as needed
