Senior Auditor

HDR is seeking a Senior Auditor to join their Internal Audit team. The role involves planning and executing audit procedures to evaluate business processes, systems, and internal controls. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial and/or technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to quickly learn new accounting systems and technology concepts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or closely related field
• A minimum of 4 years prior public accounting, internal audit, or relevant experience
• Professional Designation such as CPA, CIA, CISSP, CISM, CFE
• Supervisory Experience
• Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles, internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO), financial reporting, and risk management
• Good administrative and project management skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present control analysis and recommendations with clarity and professionalism
• Knowledge of IT topics such as firewalls, networks, vulnerability management, role-based access, IT Security compliance, IT systems audits or relevant functions
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of audit analytics, data acquisition and data visualization software tools (IDEA, SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
