The Nurse Practitioner will provide primary health care services to the community, perform health care management, pharmacotherapeutics and therapeutic interventions, and work with health providers to develop and implement holistic treatment and interventions.
Requirements
- Experience in community development and health promotion
- Master of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner (MN-NP)
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Basic Cardiac Life Support Level C Certificate (BCLS)
- Communication skills
- Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to develop and deliver formal education programs
- Knowledge in diverse cultures, values and traditions
- Knowledge of addictions interventions involving drugs, alcohol or tobacco
- Knowledge & skill in assessment, treatment & education related to sexual health
