Reporting to the Manager of Primary Health Care, the Nurse Practitioner will provide primary health care services to the community, including health promotion and protection, disease and injury prevention, provision of supportive and instructive treatment, and emergency services.
Requirements
- Experience in community development and health promotion
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Basic Cardiac Life Support Level C Certificate (BCLS)
- Master of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner (MN-NP)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
- Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
- Knowledge in diverse cultures, values and traditions
- Knowledge of addictions interventions involving drugs, alcohol or tobacco
- Knowledge & skill in assessment, treatment & education related to sexual health
