Technologist, Radiology Special Procedures - MRI

Job Title: Special Procedures Technologist. Performs high quality MRI Radiological examinations on patients, enters exam charges into system, and maintains exam room and equipment in an orderly fashion.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school Radiologic Technology
• Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or Registry eligible
• Current CPR certification
• Two years of training under a qualified and licensed radiologist as stated by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Working knowledge of anatomy
• Understanding principles of physics and electricity
• Knowledge of methods of exposure to obtain the required films and be able to set up and operate equipment
• Working knowledge of contrast media
• Ability to understand variations of anatomical positions
