Job Title: Special Procedures Technologist. Performs high quality MRI Radiological examinations on patients, enters exam charges into system, and maintains exam room and equipment in an orderly fashion.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school Radiologic Technology
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or Registry eligible
- Current CPR certification
- Two years of training under a qualified and licensed radiologist as stated by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Working knowledge of anatomy
- Understanding principles of physics and electricity
- Knowledge of methods of exposure to obtain the required films and be able to set up and operate equipment
- Working knowledge of contrast media
- Ability to understand variations of anatomical positions
