The Special Procedures Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality MRI radiological examinations on patients of all ages, maintaining exam rooms and equipment, and working with radiologists to provide accurate information. The role requires registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, a bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, and two years of training under a qualified and licensed radiologist. Additional requirements include CPR certification, working knowledge of anatomy and principles of physics and electricity, and sufficient knowledge of patient care and sterile techniques.
