Job Description
Under the direction of the Mold Maintenance Supervisor, the Mold Maintenance Techs are responsible for evaluating, maintaining, and repairing molds, while maintaining Quality and EHS certifications.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Above-average mechanical aptitude
- Ability to use precision measuring equipment and tool room equipment (mills, lathes, drill press, surface grinders, saws to fabricate parts)
- Aptitude for very close tolerance precision work
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a machine shop or Mold Maintenance department with the ability to read blueprints
- Work independently
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs
- Ability for daily and weekend overtime work required
- Experience working with injection molding tools
- Prior forklift experience preferred
