190 Seat Mediterranean Restaurant on Bryant Park in NYC is seeking an Executive Sous Chef to join their culinary team. The role involves all aspects of the kitchen operation, maintaining high-quality food, and assisting the Executive Chef. Responsibilities include leading and training staff, managing food safety, and inventory control.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate in various languages
- 5+ years of experience as Chef de Cuisine or Sous Chef
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Passion for European cuisine
- Experience managing and mentoring a team
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene
- Food Handler Certificate
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
