Job Description
HF Sinclair in El Dorado, KS is seeking a Superintendent Laboratory. This position directs key functions of the Refining Laboratory Department, fostering a positive, inclusive work culture while leading high-performing teams to deliver accurate, reproducible, and timely laboratory results.
Requirements
- High level leadership competence
- Ability to address and resolve personnel issues effectively
- Manages the overall operation of the Laboratory personnel
- Ensures the quality of raw materials, intermediate products and finished products
- Manages sample loads and laboratory staff
- Manages the continual development of QA/QC (i.e., training, equipment, etc.)
- Develops and manages laboratory budget
- Manages preventative and corrective maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Responsible for lab building and peripheral support areas assigned to lab
- Responsible for release/approval for shipments, and certification that all Sunoco and customer specifications are met
- May be responsible for maintaining and enforcing company ISO requirements and philosophy throughout the production lab
- Assist refinery troubleshooting efforts from a laboratory perspective
