Job Description
The Roosevelt Hotel in New Orleans is seeking a Full-Time Pastry Cook to join the team. The Pastry Cook is responsible for preparing and executing pastry and dessert items to support an excellent Guest and Member experience, while maintaining quality, consistency, and food safety standards.
Requirements
- Assist with production, preparation, and presentation of desserts and baked goods
- Maintain consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all dessert offerings
- Support the setup, organization, and cleanliness of the pastry station
- Follow proper food handling, hygiene, and safety procedures at all times
- Assist with seasonal and menu offerings as directed
- Properly store, label, and rotate ingredients to ensure freshness
- Collaborate with the culinary team to support overall kitchen operations
