Wok 2 - Chynna (Chinese Restaurant)

The Wok 2 is responsible for ensuring that the relevant kitchen operates as a successful profit centre by planning, organising, directing and controlling production and administration in accordance with our defined standards. The role involves maintaining a high customer service focus, being motivated and committed, and maintaining a kitchen environment that promotes flair, creativity and consistency in the quality of food taste and presentation.

• Ensure that all Food Safety System policies and guidelines are followed and implemented
• Develop and build a solid and stable team environment and to coach and develop all subordinates
• Maintain the budgeted costs without effecting the operation or set standards
• Assess and monitor cleanliness on a daily basis
• Supervise, guide and develop chefs of a lower grade
• Effectively manage the performance of employees
• Liaise closely with Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef
• Monitor and control the daily foods merchandise
• Follow, train and monitor Hiltons Fire & Safety procedures
• Ensure all Hotel policies and procedures are correctly observed and followed
