Application Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Manager to lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of critical business applications for Hitachi, Ltd. This role involves overseeing application lifecycle management, ensuring system stability and performance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to support business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in application development and management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience with enterprise-level application systems and architecture.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Proficiency in various programming languages and databases (e.g., Java, Python,.NET, SQL, Oracle).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.
• ITIL certification or similar IT service management framework knowledge is a plus.
