We are seeking a Practice Development Manager to join our team to advance the business development and marketing goals and objectives of its Government Section.
Requirements
- Assume responsibility for managing the marketing and business development activities of assigned groups and practices.
- Develop marketing and business development strategies and programs to advance the goals and objectives of assigned groups and practices.
- Spearhead the development of, as well as implement and track, the business plans for the assigned practice groups.
- Develop and manage Section, Practice Group and Team budgets.
- Identify opportunities to leverage practice group or team successes to other firm practice groups, offices or teams.
- Facilitate the directory submission process for relevant ranking organizations/publications.
- Assist in developing responses to RFP's and pitches for new business.
- Identify and direct practice group research efforts for the assigned areas, including trends and issues, targeted companies, etc.
- Take an ownership approach to the assigned practice areas.
- Manage multiple projects and shifting priorities; makes decisions and adapts to changing work environments in-house and for our clients.
- Articulate. Excellent writer and communicator.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Moderate or advanced keyboard usage
