The Lead Medical Assistant is responsible for managing daily clinic operations, ensuring efficient office functioning, providing direct and indirect patient care, and overseeing the team's completion of general office tasks.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent and current Medical Assistant Certification (CMA)
- 1+ years of clinical leadership
- Experience working in a healthcare environment
- Familiarity with OSHA, HIPAA, and healthcare regulatory standards and requirements
- Understanding of patient-centered care principles and best practices
- Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and clinical guidelines
- Strong computer skills and experience using Electronic Medical Records (NextGen preferred) and knowledge of Microsoft Office
