The Medical Assistant I provides direct and indirect patient care while assisting clinicians in delivering evidence-based, patient-centered medical care. The role requires strong computer skills, electronic medical records experience, and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of a competency-based Medical Assistant training program
- 3+ months in a similar clinical position
- BLS Certification through the American Heart Association
- Strong computer skills and experience using Electronic Medical Records (NextGen preferred)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
