We are seeking a Medical Assistant to provide direct and indirect patient care while assisting clinicians in delivering evidence-based, patient-centered medical care. The Medical Assistant should prioritize building and maintaining strong relationships both within HCH's centers and with the administrative team.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Medical Assistant preferred
- BLS Certification through the American Heart Association
- 3+ months in a similar clinical position
- Strong computer skills and experience using Electronic Medical Records (NextGen preferred) and knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Compassionate and positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to create an excellent patient experience
- Patient focused mindset
- Willingness to work between other locations when needed
