Job Description
Horizon Surgical Systems Inc. is seeking a highly motivated mechanical engineer to contribute to the development of a novel surgical robotic system for ophthalmology. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in medical device product development and expertise in hardware design, FDA guidelines, and surgical instrumentation design.
Requirements
- B.S./M.S./Ph.D. in mechanical/mechatronics/biomedical/robotics engineering
- 12/10/6 years of experience in medical device product development (preferred)
- 4/2/0 years of experience in medical device product development (minimum)
- Hands-on prototyping, debugging, and testing
- Ability to design in compliance with FDA guidelines
- Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM
