Job Description
Neptune Medical is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the Robotics Hardware Team, focused on designing and implementing fluidics and disposables for a fully flexible medical robot. The role requires a blend of design ingenuity, functional performance, and cost-effectiveness, ensuring the device meets clinical needs and operates at scale. The position will work with contract manufacturers and contribute to intellectual property.
Requirements
- Design and implement fluidics and drapes for the capital robotic system.
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration and generate solutions for clinicians.
- Design and own packaging, labeling, and sterilization for instruments.
- Select and develop suppliers for high-quality products.
- Define requirements, test methods, and design verification.
- Lead technical design reviews and present design inputs.
- Develop novel ideas to strengthen intellectual property.
