Job Description
Prep and splice fiber optic cables, install and maintain transmission and reception equipment, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or recognized equivalent
- Excellent oral and written communications skills in English
- Active and clean, non-restrictive, state issued driver’s license in State where hired
- At least 3 years hands-on/field experience in fiber splicing, test equipment & restoration
- Demonstrated proficiency using fusion splicing machine
- SCTE certification a plus
