Job Description
House Rx is seeking a Specialty Pharmacy Care Coordinator in Rockville, MD to improve the specialty pharmacy experience for patients and caregivers. This on-site role will focus on completing authorizations, sourcing financial assistance, processing claims, coordinating dispensing, and improving the patient experience. The position requires a proactive and patient-focused individual with experience navigating specialty medication benefits and potentially collaborating with pharmacy technicians and healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Master all core pharmacy technician skills.
- Experience processing claims and dispensing medications.
- Comfortable engaging with patients, providers, and the care team.
- Experience navigating specialty medication benefits investigation and financial assistance.
- Proficiency in common pharmacy software systems (QS1, ComputerRx, PioneerRx, WAM).
