Job Description
House Rx is seeking an On-Site Specialty Pharmacy Care Coordinator in St. Petersburg, FL to improve the patient experience and streamline the pharmacy workflow. The role involves prior authorizations, claims processing, dispensing medication, and patient communication. This is an on-site position within an office.
Requirements
- Master all core pharmacy technician skills (claims processing, dispensing)
- Experience navigating specialty medication benefits investigation, prior authorization, and financial assistance
- Knowledge of specialty medications, including autoimmune, endocrinology, and oncology
- Basic familiarity with pharmacy software (QS1, ComputerRx, PioneerRx, WAM)
- EMR system experience (EPIC, Cerner, NextGen, etc) or specialty pharmacy system (Therigy, Asembia1, ScriptMed) knowledge is a plus
- Fluency in English
