Pastry Chef

The Houston Racquet Club is hiring a talented and experienced Pastry Chef to lead all pastry and bakery operations for events, buffets, and receptions. This role involves overseeing bakery staff, managing inventory, ensuring quality, and creating seasonal menus. The position requires a strong understanding of culinary standards and budget management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (culinary education or equivalent experience preferred)
• Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
• Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus
• Must be able to taste, smell, and visually inspect food to maintain quality
