IT Operations Engineer

Hudson River Trading (HRT) is seeking an IT Operations Engineer to join our Information Technology team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for providing technical support to HRTers around the globe, while also driving automation and engineering solutions to improve scalability and efficiency.

Requirements

• Design, build, and maintain automations with code to streamline recurring IT support tasks, reduce manual toil, and improve team scalability
• Deliver responsive and in-depth technical support for end users, serving as a high-level escalation point for advanced Windows endpoint issues
• Administer and support core IT platforms and SaaS tools including Okta, Google Workspace, Jira, Microsoft 365, Slack, Zoom, and others
• Partner with Technical Procurement to ensure accurate tracking, lifecycle management, and compliance of IT assets
• Co-own the onboarding process for user accounts and hardware in your region, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires
• Maintain and improve internal documentation to serve as a resource for the IT team and broader organization
• Participate in an on-call rotation for IT support coverage, which may include occasional weekend shifts
