Job Description
Pipe Layers assemble, connect and construct pipe systems for storm sanitation sewers, drains and water mains and pipelines. They prepare ground, dig trenches, align pipes and seal joints together with cement, glue or plastic welding.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift to 40 pounds
- Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures
- Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
- Out-of-town travel and/or overtime is a possibility
