Pipe Layer

Hughes Brothers Construction is hiring a Pipe Layer for a full-time position in Kissimmee, FL. The job involves assembling, connecting, and constructing pipe systems for storm sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains. The Pipe Layer will ensure ground is prepped, trenches are dug, and pipes are aligned and sealed. Responsibilities include installing sanitary and storm water sewer structures, laying out pipe routes, and connecting pipe pieces. Desired qualifications include being at least 18 years old, physically able to stand, bend, and lift 40 pounds, and having a basic understanding of construction principles and procedures.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift to 40 pounds
• Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures
• Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
• Out-of-town travel and/or overtime is a possibility
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• English and Spanish fluency a plus, but not required
