Job Description
Event Concierge at Hyatt Regency New Orleans, responsible for ensuring seamless meeting and event experiences for planners and guests, providing thoughtful and personalized service, and anticipating needs.
Requirements
- Act as the primary liaison between the hotel and the meeting planner
- Perform detailed function room inspections
- Remain constantly on the floor and accessible to clients
- Respond to client requests within 5 minutes
- Monitor and manage the planner's personal and practical needs
- Provide thoughtful touches and added services
- Coordinate with engineering
- Conduct cleanliness walkthroughs
- Attend pre-convention, tie-down, and planning meetings
- Participate in meet-and-greet site inspections
- Confirm VIP meeting rooms and setups
- Monitor traffic flow
- Support crowd management
- Locate, track, and retrieve boxes or materials
- Monitor trash levels
- Arrange replacement signage
- Deliver service recovery
- Maintain constant communication with planners
- Support special projects
- Learn group programs in detail
