Business Development Director

Ibotta is seeking a Business Development Director to join their innovative team and contribute to their mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding. The successful candidate will independently manage a set of highly strategic accounts, develop multi-faceted strategies, and build comprehensive business cases to grow and maintain partnerships with large retailers and marketplaces.

Requirements

• 6-8 years of complex B2B enterprise sales or business development experience working with large accounts
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Technical Skills: G Suite, Microsoft Suite, AI tools
• Demonstrated track record of success, including ability to pivot and problem solve during a complex BD/partnership process
• Proven ability to sell into senior leadership (including C-level) and to navigate matrixed organizations
• Brilliant communication skills, both written and spoken
• Expert negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to close the deal
• Flexibility, accountability, resourcefulness, and ability to work with little direction in a fast-paced startup environment
• Highly independent, self-motivated, and visionary
• Ability to think and act like an entrepreneur and to use creative thinking to deliver value to your stakeholders
• Great analytical skills with an innate compulsion to measure the results of your work
