Benefits Specialist

The Benefits Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day administration, analysis, and support of employee benefit programs, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and delivering competitive and compliant benefits programs. This role plays a critical part in modernizing and automating benefits delivery, leveraging AI, automation, and self-service technology to streamline processes and improve the employee experience.

Requirements

• Administers group health, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, and voluntary benefit programs.
• Manages enrollments, changes, terminations, and life event updates in HRIS and vendor systems.
• Directs benefits orientations, leads open enrollment planning and execution, and conducts regular audits of payroll deductions.
• Serves as primary point of contact for employee benefit inquiries and provides guidance on eligibility, coverage options, and leave policies.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including annual compliance activities and nondiscrimination testing.
