IDEA Special Education RISE Co-Teachers seek to gain experience in Special Education and prepare students for college. This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate with 48 college hours, interest in Special Education, and a desire to advance their education career. The role involves working with students in a functional curriculum, focusing on academic and life skills development, and providing social and emotional support. Candidates must be physically capable of assisting students with special needs.

Requirements

• At least 48 college hours
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Willingness to pursue Special Education certification (ISECP pathway is an advantage)
• Ability to assist students with special needs
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
