IDEA is seeking a 6th-8th Special Education RISE Co-Teacher to gain experience in Special Education teaching. The role involves working with students with cognitive and developmental disabilities in elementary or middle school classrooms, focusing on daily living and vocational skill acquisition. The position involves 1:1 instruction, behavior management, and collaboration with the Classrooms-in-the-Academy (K-5) or College Prep (6-12) teams. Requirements

• At least 48 college hours required, bachelor's degree preferred
• Willingness to pursue a Special Education teaching certification
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to assist students with special needs
