Retail Manager

To manage the franchise outlet(s) and ensure that sound merchandising techniques, good housekeeping practices, efficient inventory levels and superior customer service are always given, as required by the company.

• Supervision and motivation of staff
• Monitoring and controlling expenses and meeting sales and profitability targets
• Continuously improving customer service standards
• Maintaining retail facilities to franchise standards
• Implementation of marketing plans and achieving sales, margin and expenses forecasts
• Management of inventory to ensure effective inventory levels
• Implementing and maintaining effective controls to safeguard company assets
• Developing franchise and product lines through sound marketing techniques and customer focus
• Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations and employees abide by the highest ethical principles
• Ensuring a safe work environment and staffing levels to meet expected or unexpected increase in store traffic
• Providing feedback and recommendations for improvement to franchise standards, policies, or procedures
• Resolving discrepancies, strong security protocols, data protection, consistent staff training and proactive risk management
• Fulfilling other responsibilities or tasks as assigned by the General Manager
