Personal Attendant (DSP)

The Personal Attendant (DSP) provides daily care and training to clients, assisting with communication, mobility, education, and self-help skills. The attendant must have good English skills, problem-solving skills, and be a team player in a fast-paced environment. The job involves working with clients, their families, and other service providers to promote independence and safety.

Requirements

• Pass a background check and TB test
• Possess valid California Driver's license and provide a current driving record issued by the DMV
• Current car registration and insurance
• Driving Experience - Minimum 1 year
• Be certified in CPR/FA/CPI; we can provide training if needed!
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, squat and lift 50 LBS
• Must have good English skills (verbal and written); must have good problem solving skills and be a team player in a fast paced environment
• Must be over 18 years old and have experience in this field
