Job Description
The Los Angeles CIT/ILS/PAS Instructor provides 1:1 direct care support to individuals with developmental disabilities in various areas, including Los Angeles, Glendale, Burbank, Pasadena, Hollywood, Koreatown, and others. Responsibilities include training, instruction, and promotion of independence in various skills, including communication, mobility, education, money management, self-help, and more.
Requirements
- Pass a background check and TB test
- Possess a valid California Driver's license and provide a current driving record issued by the DMV
- Current car registration and insurance
- Driving Experience - Minimum 1 year
- Be certified in CPR/FA/CPI
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, squat and lift 50 LBS
- Good English skills (verbal and written)
- Good problem-solving skills and be a team player in a fast paced environment
