Job Description
Indiana University Health Riley Hospital is seeking a dedicated Child Life Specialist (CLS) to provide emotional, developmental, and psychosocial support to pediatric patients and families. The role involves assessing needs, educating families, and advocating for emotionally safe care in a hospital setting. The position supports families through difficult healthcare experiences and enhances their coping skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Child Life, Child Development, Psychology, or similar).
- ACLP Certified Child Life Specialist Certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- 0-3 years of relevant experience (preferred).
