Job Description
This is a full-time Nuclear Medicine Technologist position located at Bloomington Hospital. The hours are 7a-3:30p Monday-Friday. On-call and holiday coverage required. Knowledge of PET/CT is helpful! Sign-on bonus available to eligible applicants! Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures involving the use of radiopharmaceuticals to perform body function studies, organ imaging, and analyze biologic specimen.
Requirements
- Knowledge of PET/CT is helpful
- On-call and holiday coverage required
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required
- Active status through one of the following: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine, RT(NM); or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB): Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or or a recent graduate of an approved training program in Nuclear Medicine (board eligible)
- Current Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) license as Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Computed Tomography (CT) certification within 18 months of hire through ARRT or NMTCB
