Job Description
Ingerman is seeking a Legal Associate to provide comprehensive legal support across a wide range of real estate and corporate matters. The Legal Associate will conduct legal research, monitor changes in applicable laws, and provide practical legal advice to support the company's operations and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Model and instill company mission and values
- Conduct real estate closings, including acquisitions, financings, refinancings, dispositions, and so forth
- Conduct review and negotiation of documentation, especially loan documents
- Prepare organizational documentation
- Conduct contract review and negotiation
- Prepare drafts of legal opinions
- Conduct preparation/review of letters for various members of the company as necessary
- Conduct legal research as necessary
- Remain abreast of changes in law which may impact the company's operations
- Prepare and negotiate construction contracts for third-party construction operations
- Participate in conference calls, including closing related calls on a regular basis
- Assist with general legal advice across all company platforms
