We're looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our Network Health team in Manchester. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for repairing parcel lockers on client sites, diagnosing and repairing faults, and providing technical support and training to employees and subcontractors. The role requires a hands-on, field-based approach and involves developing new solutions and maintaining technical documentation.
Requirements
- Experience in a Field service technical engineering role on electrical/mechanical equipment
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing equipment, with experience in software configuration and firmware updates
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for resolving complex technical issues
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to provide technical training
- Ability to manage tasks efficiently, ensuring quality and meeting deadlines across multiple markets
- High accuracy in quality control and documentation updates
- Experience working with diverse teams, including international subcontractors and internal staff
- Flexibility to travel for service and training activities both in the UK and occasionally internationally
- Familiarity with parcel locker or similar systems, electromechanical devices, and organisational IT tools
