Staff Mechanical Design Engineer

Inseego Corp. is seeking a Staff Mechanical Design Engineer to work onsite in San Diego, CA. The role involves designing, testing, and documenting best-in-class wireless mobile and fixed communication products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
• 7+ years of experience in product design and/or mechanical engineering in high-end consumer electronics
• Experience with plastic injection, sheet metal, and diecast part design
• Experience with Creo/Pro ENGINEER 3D CAD and Windchill PLM
• Experience with thermal simulation software (Flotherm preferred)
• Experience with FEA software (Creo Mechanica preferred)
• Good written and communications skills
• Ability to work with internal development teams, vendors, and contract manufacturers
