Bench Scientist

A skilled bioanalytical scientist is needed to join a state-of-the-art mass spectrometry laboratory to develop sensitive quantitative assays for proteins targeted by therapeutics. The lab-based role requires expertise in bioanalytical procedures, immunoanalytical procedures, protein biochemistry, and triple quadrupole quantitative mass spectrometry.

Requirements

• BS/MS level education in biochemistry, biology, or chemistry or related fields
• Industry experience in bio-pharma
• Expertise in the operation and maintenance of mass spectrometers
• Experience with basic and complex quantitative protein LC-MS/MS assays
• Track record of method development skills particularly with novel and complex methods applied to bioanalytical questions
• Work well both independently and as part of a team
• Collaborative skills and effective partnering skills in a matrix-environment
• Strong data organization and analysis skills
• Strong communication skills
